This beautiful handcrafted Shaker Hanging Mirror comes in a choice of timbers that will perfectly suite any setting or decorative theme. Each Shaker Hanging Mirror exclusively made to order. Also individually hand made from a choice of solid timbers. The frame construction is traditional, notably with pinned mortice and tenons. The mirror comes ready to hang, by the two fitted timber hangers. Height adjustment is then by means of the three holes drilled in each hanger. Contrasting tenon pins and a contrasting moulded bead running around the mirror’s edge, further enhance the charm of the hand planed frames. This frame supports a solid 6 mm thick silvered glass mirror. There is also a fitted plywood back board. Hand rubbed shellac finishes the frame to perfection. The mirrors come authenticated with my logo, also numbered, signed and dated.
Available timber combinations are: European Walnut frame with American Walnut tenon pins and beading. Cherry frame with European Walnut tenon pins and beading. Oak frame with European Walnut tenon pins and beading.
The mirror frame dimensions are 24″/610 mm wide X 27″/686 mm high X 3/4″/ 20 mm thick. Hangers extend 9″/228 mm above the top of the frame.
Hangers are at 18″ / 457 mm centres to suite Barry Horton peg rails, and any other peg rails, which have pegs set at 6″/ 152 mm spacing. If your peg rail has different spacing, let me know before ordering. In most instances, different spacing can be accommodated.
