Hand crafted, solid oak Shaker Peg Shelves feature a 3 1/4'' ( 83 mm ) Peg
Rail with a 5 1/2'' ( 140 mm ) deep shelf. Supported each end by sturdy but
elegantly shaped brackets. There is a useful grove let into the top of the
shelf which can be used for displaying plates, should you wish. The
authentic hand turned Shaker pegs project 2 7/8'' ( 73mm ) and are self
threaded into the rail, just like fine quality originals.
All joints are securely glued, doweled and screwed in the workshop so that the finished peg shelf will arrive to you fully assembled and ready to fit. These Shaker Peg Shelves have a natural hand rubbed oil finish of my own recipe followed by a final coat of beeswax and are supplied with all fixings for solid or plasterboard walls, as well as solid oak screw caps
