Shaker Pedestal Table

These small tables or candle-stands, as the Shakers called them, are really adaptable and useful in all kinds of situations and are reproduced in oak, walnut or cherry. This stunning little table was first produced at Mount Lebanon as early as 1800, however only a handful have actually been found. This table for me is iconic; I can not think of any other design piece, in any genre that is so truly timeless, equally at home in any setting. Pedestal Table size: Top 16 inches (405mm) diameter, 26 inches (650mm) high.
