These beautiful handcrafted Cherry Oval Shaker Boxes come in 6 different sizes. The rich tone and texture of the timber gives these boxes a truly distinctive look, that's just a little bit special!

The timber of the French wild Cherry or ''Merisier'' is world renowned and has gone into the making of some worlds most beautiful furniture. When youthful the timber is fresh and full of character and when polished exudes its own special light. Later over the years it will slowly mature to a darker warm glow. Cherry was a timber of choice for the Shakers and I must confess a favourite of mine. Besides having all the practical uses and attributes of other shaker boxes these simply ask to be picked up, held and admired.
